Make it stand out.
In September I was contacted by This Is Art to be part of their Memory Lane event as part of Gold Coast City Councils larger event CBD Sundown. The even was created as a way to reinvigorate Southport’s live music venues after these business taking a hit during venue closures for state public health orders. The event was targeted to an 18+ audience to drive traffic to the surrounding night life venues when the even finished.
This Is Art took over Regents Lane and created a nostalgia packed ‘Memory Lane’, complete with roving roller girls, retro arcade games, DJ’s playing throwbacks and live painting. Myself, CRT Designs, and Tarsha Christie were given the theme of nostalgia to respond to by through live painting at the event. Enter my Cabbage Patch Doll X Clueless amalgamation!
