Pacific Fair X HOTA

In April this year I was contacted by Pacific Fair and asked to conceptualize and facilitate a children’s workshop for the HOTA takes over Pacific Fair school holidays workshops. This to celebrate the opening of the new HOTA Gallery. The brief was a ten minute workshop that was scalable for children from ages 2 - 10 to complete, Gold Coast themed and 3000 - 5000 children to partake in over the April Easter school holiday period.

In response to this brief I created some Gold Coast Iconic shapes and sent them on over to Snip and Stamp who so graciously created these custom clay cutters for me. This was key to making the Clay ArtLab scalable for all ages so the littler ones would still be able to complete the activity. Older children were able to spend a bit more time adding details to their pieces and the result was a whole lot of colour and a whole lot of fun!

Massive thank you to Pacific Fair and HOTA for inviting me to be part of this great project! You can check out the take over higlights below.
